ITSSAR Instructor Re Registration Course - 5 Day

Our ITSSAR FLT Instructor Re Registration Course is for currently qualified ITSSAR FLT instructors who need to refresh their qualification and renew their registration. As an already qualified forklift instructor you will join the back end of a 10-day course and will be familiarised on the principles of forklift truck operation, safety, and training.

Entry Requirements

  • Existing ITSSAR instructor qualification.
  • You must hold an operators counterbalance certificate issued within 6 months.

This forklift re registration instructor course is designed to renew existing instructors’ qualifications who want to continue to teach candidates how to safety operate lift trucks and satisfy training recommendations as per the HSE approved code of practice.

Course Agenda

  • Health & Safety at Work in relation to lift trucks.
  • Outline Instructional Techniques
  • Outline Recommendations of Training
  • Demonstrate appropriate standards of operating ability.
  • Deliver a structured classroom Lesson.
  • Deliver a structured practical session.
  • Deliver a practical demonstration.
  • Apply Basic Skills Test principles.
  • Demonstrate ability to compile an accurate, brief, and clear report.

All candidates will receive the latest ITSSAR compendium which outlines the information delivered on the course along with useful training aids.

Candidates are continuously assessed throughout their training and each course is externally monitored at random by a qualified training monitor from ITSSAR.

Upon successful completion candidates will be added to the TOPPS national register scheme and a training certificate issued.
