ITSSAR Instructor Course - 10 Day

Our ITSSAR FLT Instructor Course is for operators who want to become qualified forklift truck instructor / examiners in 10 days. This course will give you an understanding of the principles of forklift truck operation, safety, and training. In depth coverage of assessments, reporting, skills testing, ongoing assessment, along with roles of the instructor, learning methods, principles of instruction, lesson types and plans, classroom, and training aids.

Entry Requirements

  • You must hold an operators counterbalance certificate issued within 6 months
  • Strong recommendation that delegates have minimum 6 months operating experience.
  • Photographic ID

This forklift instructor course is designed to train new instructors who wish to teach candidates how to safety operate lift trucks and satisfy training recommendations as per the HSE approved code of practice.

Candidates are continuously assessed throughout their training and each course is externally monitored at random by a qualified training monitor from ITSSAR.

Upon successful completion candidates will be added to the TOPPS national register scheme and a training certificate issued.
