This course typically starts on a Monday with 4 to 5 hours of training each day, concluding with your DVSA driving test on the Friday – 5 day duration. Within these 16 hours you will practice all of the skills you will need to prepare yourself for test day, plus the 3a reversing test prior to your 3b driving test. In addition to these 16 hours, on test day you will start at least 1 hour before your test time, as a ‘warmup’ and then have use of the vehicle for the duration of the test, which is a further 1 to 1¼ hours. Not all schools run their courses this way, most may include the ‘warmup’ and test time within their 16 hours, whereas we give you 16 hours of actual training before your ‘warmup’ and test.

- By booking online and paying the initial fee of £398, we guarantee you will be offered the first available course, over and above any other clients with subsequent booking requests or enquiries.
- Within 24 hours (weekday), we will contact you to discuss your availability and our next available course.
- In the unlikely event that we can not provide you with a suitable course date, we will immediately refund the full payment, back onto the card you used to make the initial payment. Please note that some banks can take up to 3-5 days to credit an account.
- Usually, clients are more than happy to accept the course date we have offered and therefore your initial payment will then become a ‘non-refundable’ deposit. This secures your chosen course date with our standard Ts & Cs applying.
- To help spread the cost of the course, the balance of £1200.00 can be paid up to 2 weeks before you start your driving course.
For those with limited weekday availability, for a small supplement of £48.00 we can provide this course over a weekend, concluding with the DVSA tests the following week, usually on a Monday.
Things to consider:
Some companies may offer every type of course you can think of (7 ½ Tonne, HGV Class 1 & 2, Bus, Minibus etc.,) with all of the various course lengths (10, 12, 16 & 20 hours), all starting in the same week! Considering the high demand for courses and the lack of driving tests, is this really possible?
Others may only offer a small part of the course (just a couple of hours) in the week you book, with the bulk of the course, including the actual driving test a number of weeks later, they will decide when. So, even though they require the full course fee to be paid ‘up front’, at the time of booking you have no idea when you will be actually completing your driver training.

- Telephone you to obtain your full details and check your eligibility to commence the course.
- Discuss the next available start date for your course, subject to your availability.
- If a start date can not be agreed, you can request a full refund of your initial payment.
- Once a start date has been agreed and the deposit allocated, an email will be sent to confirm all of the relevant details of your booking, with our standard Ts & Cs applying.
- We will also send you a Worldpay ‘pay by link’ email which will enable you to make your final payment at any convenient time, 24/7 up to 2 weeks before your start date.
- Once we have received your final payment, approximately 2 weeks before your start date we will telephone you with your full training schedule and send you a confirmation email.
