Car and Trailer Training - B+E (2hrs)

1-1 Training using our vehicle and trailer, ideal for candidates who have the entitlement to tow but have limited experience.

This 2-hr training session will cover the essential skills to enable drivers to work with trailers, building on existing knowledge of towing safety with a trailer. Aimed at building confidence and ensuring correct procedures are being following.

Entry Requirements

  • UK Driving Licence with BE entitlement
  • In Date Driving licence.

Note: B+E courses using client vehicles are available.

Car and Trailer Training - B+E (2hrs)

Perfect for candidates who already hold their B+E licence who want to gain confidence, practice reversing and coupling and have formalised training. Whether you tow a caravan, plant trailer or Horsebox this course will insure you are driving safely whilst towing.

This training can help keep your cargo and equipment safe, keep other road users safe, improve fuel consumption and wear and tear and lower your insurance premiums.

Course Agenda

  • Uncoupling and Recoupling
  • Pre-Start Safety Checks
  • Basic Highway Road rules
  • Load distribution and how it affects towing.
  • Competent and confident manoeuvring
  • Reversing in a straight line, narrow gaps and curved
  • Towing on different types of roads

Requirements:

  • UK Driving Licence with B+E entitlement.

Duration: 2hrs vehicle and instructor time

If you are a novice at towing then it is recommend  to book one of our longer more intensive courses.
