ADR – Transport of hazardous goods course is essential for drivers of vehicles carrying regulated hazardous substances. It provides the necessary training and qualifications to legally transport hazardous goods and ensures compliance with safety regulations.
This package includes:
Core: Basic syllabus for carrying any class of dangerous goods in Road tankers, tank containers, packages, drums, cylinders and loose in bulk.
Packages & Loose in Bulk: For carrying any class of dangerous goods in (sacks, drums, cylinders, cartons) and loose in bulk (skips, tipper or dust cart bodies etc)
Tanks: Carrying any class of dangerous goods, in road tankers or other containers.
And seven common classes:
Class 2: Gases; compressed, liquefied, dissolved under pressure or refrigerated
Class 3: Flammable liquids
Class 4: Flammable solids, substances liable to spontaneous combustion
Class 5: Oxidising substances and organic peroxides
Class 6: Toxic, harmful and infectious substances
Class 8: Corrosives - Acids and Alkalis
Class 9: Miscellaneous dangerous substances and articles, e.g. asbestos, PCBs and any substance or article not covered by the other classes.
This ADR training counts towards 21 hours of Driver CPC Periodic training.

- You must bring your photographic driving licence, Driver Qualification Card, or Passport.
Duration: 5 Days
After successfully completing our course and passing your multi choice exams, your ADR certificate will be issued within 14 days by SQA and is valid for 5 years.
We also offer varied courses should you only need certain classes for example Class 2 gasses for packages, or Class 3 Flammable liquid for Tanks, we can tailor a course to suit you.
